The architecture fits perfectly into the landscape, becoming a natural, asymmetric and perfect element that stirs emotions, leaving an indelible mark.
A combination of wood, steel, and light invades the spaces and frees the walls. A graphic architecture that finds its place in a human-made mountain area home to terraced vineyards, wineries and the Novacella Abbey near Bressanone.
Raum3 Architekten’s project elevated a 90 sq.m reinforced concrete house on one floor, making it invisible from the road and providing new living spaces in addition to a strong identity.
The result is two new floors permeable to the surroundings and whose development follows the owners’ needs. Moreover, the living area overlooks the valley. In contrast, the southern and western sides are shaded by the larch wood balconies in the summer.
The bedrooms face north-west and east to ensure privacy.
