Casa Kyra

Single-family house realised in the province of Udine

Kyra is a customisable project made with Wolf Haus wood in an elegant neighbourhood near Udine. 
 
The house has a simple layout with a two-pitch roof covering the ground floor and the portico. The first floor is smaller, but the terrace and the protruding pitch enhance the volume. 

The interiors feature neutral, light colours and a rational layout. The entrance on the ground floor becomes a living room, giving access to the furnished portico and the independent kitchen. The bedroom area on the ground floor is designed to ensure maximum accessibility. 
The open staircase leads to the upper floor, where the corridor distributes rooms and light. 
 
The colours and materials ensure continuity between the exteriors and interiors, giving character to the portico through the stone cladding of the pillars and the skilfully lighted wooden beams of the roof. 
Kyra is a Wolf Haus Energy Plus residence. It produces more energy than it consumes for its primary needs.
