MargStudio - Arch Rota Matteo
A contemporary residence that harmoniously blends in an agricultural area rich in history and defined by cultivated fields and rural brick houses.
The aim was to build a completely passive house while ensuring comfort and visual axes over the surrounding countryside and farmhouses.
So, the architect chose two asymmetrical volumes with a two-pitch roof that nods to local stables and solid red brick cladding. The red bricks stand out against the dark grey walls, which define the containment with sheet metal work on the roof.
The interiors feature a contemporary style. The high ceilings present exposed whitewashed wooden beams to enhance the light coming from the large window. The living room is divided by a partial wall that serves as a kitchen niche and makes the dining area communicate with the sitting room.
Villa Ruralia has obtained the Class A CASACLIMA certification. It took 120 days of work to build this turnkey residence.
