As travel enthusiasts, the owners of Villa FDX3 drew inspiration from Australian houses that face the ocean and are always affected by winds and currents. They wanted to feel the same emotions in a different but just as charming setting: the Turin hills with a panoramic view over the entire Alpine arc up to the Langhe.
The terrain’s structure favoured the construction of a 2-floor building having access from the upper floor, which includes the living area. The bedrooms, spa, utility rooms and garage are all on the lower floor.
The interiors enjoy the beautiful views thanks to the large windows, terrace and glass parapet, which give the sensation of being suspended over the valley.
The bespoke furniture was designed by choosing the best materials and features natural and neutral colours that merge with the light.
The geometric and contemporary exteriors feature weathering steel, satin steel, plaster, and glass giving life to balanced contrasts that make this house a valuable architectural element in a hilly landscape.
